Night run is a tag game prototype. It is based on talks I had with my brother who used to run at night at his local stadium during the curfew. His objective was to run enought time whithout being caught by the patrolling guardian. As a joke/tribute, I've decided to make a prototype game based on his experience. Everything has been designed with UE4 blueprints.
CONTROLS
LEFT JOYSTICK: Jog LEFT TRIGGER: Switch tracks RIGHT TRIGGER: Sprint
MECHANICS
PATROLLING GUARDIAN: Circle around the stadium ROAMING GUARDIAN: Walk around freely but stops every 5 seconds OBJECTIVE: Run the longest distance but a new guardian spawns every 30 seconds
The 3D assets and animations are provided by Quaternius.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Screwball Scramble is a toy made by Tomy that involves guiding a chrome steel ball bearing around an obstacle course.
It is probaly the very first level design I ever played with. I wanted to be able to play it again without having to get a physical one. Then I decided to recreate it with the Unreal Engine 4. It was a funny way to practice the blueprints communication.
First I designed the buttons behavior then I linked them to the objects blueprints.
